Everyone is warmly welcome in my therapy practice – regardless of background, religion, sexual orientation, gender, or relationship structure. I understand my therapeutic approach as intersectional and attentive to power dynamics. In therapy, we meet as equals: my professional expertise helps shape the therapeutic process, while your goals, needs, and wishes set the direction.

Therapy begins with a safe space. Everything is welcome. Everything is allowed to be. I invite you to pause and connect with yourself. From this encounter, movement can emerge, what feels heavy can become lighter, and something new can begin to grow.

My approach

Systemic. To understand you as a person, I always consider the context you live in. Together, we explore the social environments in which difficulties, symptoms, and resources have developed. This may include your current relationships and surroundings, your family of origin, as well as the broader social context.

Resource-oriented. During difficult times, we can sometimes lose touch with our own resources. In therapy, we therefore consciously turn towards what supports and strengthens you – whether that is past experiences, values, abilities, or relationships.

Body-focused. Our bodies are deeply connected to how we think, feel, and relate to others. Experiences, relationships, and difficult moments leave traces not only in our thoughts, but also in our bodies. Bringing the body into the therapeutic process can help us become more aware of our emotions, needs, and relationship patterns, allowing us to explore them not only through words, but through experience. This body- and experience-oriented approach can help you connect with yourself in new ways, while opening up space for new experiences and change.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy focuses on the challenges you are facing and the changes you would like to make. This might include navigating a difficult period in your life, understanding and changing recurring patterns, strengthening your self-esteem, or supporting you through personal growth and change.

In my work, I often use parts work based on the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model to make sense of inner conflicts, foster self-compassion, and explore new ways of relating to yourself and your experiences. Depending on what you would like to work on, I also incorporate body- and experience-oriented methods. When therapeutically helpful, important people in your life can also be included in individual sessions.

Couples Therapy

Relationships change over the course of life. Sometimes, we find ourselves caught in recurring conflicts or feel as though we can no longer truly reach one another. In couples therapy, I support you in reconnecting through conversation, emotional awareness, and shared understanding. Together, we explore entrenched patterns and create space for new ways of relating to one another.

An especially important part of my work is taking an all-sided and non-partisan stance: both perspectives are given space and attention. Together, we also become curious about the different inner parts that each of you brings into the relationship – with their own needs, vulnarabilities, and longings.
