My Approach and Offer
I am a licensed psychological psychotherapist and work from a systemic, trauma-sensitive, resource-oriented and body-informed perspective. My therapeutic approach is grounded in a deep trust in the strengths, capacities, and potential for growth that exist within every person - even when they may need to be rediscovered or accessed in new ways.
I understand thoughts, emotions, bodily responses, and behaviours as interconnected expressions of inner processes. Many patterns that feel burdensome today were once meaningful and adaptive responses. In our work together, we make space to understand and honour these patterns, while opening up new possibilities for choice, change, and self-agency.
My years of experience in the international humanitarian context within the UN have also shaped my understanding of demanding life and work realities, as well as the dynamics of responsibility, identity, and cultural context.
The therapeutic process is guided by clarity, depth, and mindful attention – with care, at your pace, and with a focus on what truly helps you move forward. Alongside evidence-based methods, curiosity, lightness, and humour may also be part of the process.
